Dr. Hiral Kotadia is a dedicated and compassionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience in addressing the complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of children and adolescents. A postgraduate from the esteemed IHBAS, Delhi, and fellowship-trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at JIPMER, Puducherry, he brings specialized expertise in managing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, exam-related stress, and behavioral disturbances.
Dr. Kotadia has gained valuable clinical exposure and academic insights from leading national institutions such as NIMHANS, Bengaluru and Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, where he trained under experts in the field of child psychiatry and child adolescent mental health.
He has contributed significantly to public mental health initiatives, having been a key part of the School Mental Health Initiative of the Delhi Government, aimed at integrating mental health awareness and early intervention within the education system. He has also served as a subject expert in the development of e-learning modules on mental health for teachers and students, a project undertaken by the Ministry of Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
At CAMHANS, Dr. Kotadia leads a multidisciplinary model of care, working in close collaboration with psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and families to offer individualized and holistic mental health support. He also addresses modern challenges such as peer relationship issues, excessive screen and internet use, and parent-child conflict.
In his academic role as Associate Professor at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), Indore, Dr. Kotadia is deeply involved in clinical training, research, and capacity-building initiatives.
